Technology Supporting Resources
In order for the technology in the district to be put to effective use, it has to be reliable and available everywhere - all the time. One full-time coordinator/director manages the town/school department. Three computer technicians as well as staff in each of the school buildings provide support for users of technology in both the town and schools of Cape Elizabeth. Classroom support is provided by the coordinator, technical staff and one half time Technology Integrator at the middle school.

Our district also uses the Maine Education Data Management System (MEDMS) which will meet the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) federal reporting requirements, and will satisfy the State of Maine Chapter 125 and 127 requirements. In addition to capturing K-12 SIS data, MEDMS will collect student health data as well as all information on school personnel and expenses.
